New Proposed CCPA Regulations

On Feb. 7, the Office of the Attorney General of California issued another draft of its own California Consumer Privacy Act regulations, immediately fixed an omission with that draft Feb. 10, also place a Feb. 25 deadline for written comments. Even though Version 2 of these regulations scales back a number of the ways the very first variant exceeded the plain language of this statute, it retains the do-not-sell sign requirement and adds suggested limitations on service supplier handling of private details.
